I'm legit but take their word for it!

We had the most beautiful elopement experience with Kate, she helped make our wedding just perfect. Her photos are nothing short of stunning and her lovely gentle manner made us feel so at ease. My husband does not like being in front of the camera at all but Kate made sure we both felt so relaxed, we ended up with photos that almost make me cry every time I look at them. I really can’t recommend Kate highly enough. She sent us a few shots a day or so after the wedding to share with family and all the shots were edited and done before we were even home from our honeymoon which was just amazing. Kate really went above and beyond for us. From her initial communication through to receiving the photos, I am so happy that we chose to go with her. Not to mention her Aunty who was our celebrant as well. Thank you so much, Kate. We LOVE the photos xx

We reached out to Kate for engagement photos while we were in New Zealand, and she was the absolute best to work with! She was incredibly responsive in the weeks leading up to our session, and she even provided resources on what to wear and expect. We hadn’t done a photo session before, and she was so helpful in making us more comfortable. The photos are absolutely stunning! I can’t recommend Kate highly enough. If you’re looking for a New Zealand photographer to capture your moment and the beauty of NZ, stop looking. You’ve found her!

Let 2021 be the year you treat yourself!!

If you’ve wanted to take a cooking class sign up!

If you want to celebrate your birthday with your besties- book that airbnb

If you feel like getting glammed up in your new dress and booking a photoshoot do that!

None of us are getting any younger so
Let this be the year you treat yourself as you would a friend- with kindness!
I know a few of you are keen to take your photogra I know a few of you are keen to take your photography hobby full time this year-

Below are a few tips to help get you inspired
🌱Practise, practice, practise! Grab your friends, neighbours, family, whoever willing to model for you. Photographing all sorts of people will give you an idea of what suits you best and you will find your groove.
🌱It's best to niche down to one genre- rather than try to be good at everything. Pick one and be GREAT at it.
🌱Watch as many tutorials as you can-
YouTube is a great starting point. Skillshare, lynda.com and creative live are all great options with tons of photography tutorials.
🌱 Invest in lightroom to edit your photos. Phone apps are great but they can only take you so far.
🌱Learn to shoot in manuel mode- auto is a good starting point, but to get your photos to really stand out you will need to play around with aperture to create that blurry bokeh effect in the background.
-
Once you have nailed all of the above it's time to start an Instagram account and put your photos out into the world 🌍
-
That's it from me-
Does anyone have some good tips of their own to add?

Well now you can see why...

Out my living room window I get a great view of the mountains and I can tell you the cloud really does like to stretch out alongside them ❤️
