On the Day:
It was their dream to travel to Queenstown all the way from their home in Perth and see snow for the first time on their wedding day. For a while, this was looking unlikely due to the travel restrictions and they were considering the option of a registry office. However, in the end, their dream came true! There was a huge dump of snow on Cecil peak the night before, which is a rare and special thing.
The two of them got ready at Kamana Lakehouse in their suite which had a stunning view of the Remarkables and their own private spa. Amber looked like a beautiful mermaid in her stunning off-the-shoulder wedding gown, with her long auburn hair, that she had put in waves herself and added a hairpin of fresh flowers.
Nathan and Amber got married on Cecil Peak with their Celebrant Ellita Thomas. Afterwards, we took some photos and they had a ball playing in the snow for the first time ever, they had a snow fight and were surprised by the not-so-fluffy texture of it.
We then headed to Jack’s Point, where we captured some stunning shots in an open field with the snow-covered Remarkables right behind us before catching the last of the golden light down by the lake.
