A Winter Wonderland Elopement and Getaway in Snowy Queenstown

Love Story:

These two love birds were a modern-day dating app success. Their romance story began when they met on Christmas Eve, they went out for a beer and became each other’s best Christmas presents! Since then they have been on many adventures together as they have a shared love of travelling and trying new food. When they’re feeling a little less adventurous, they also love being cozy at home with their beloved cat.

On the Day:

Jessica and Callum got ready at their stunning accommodation at Hawk Ridge Chalet which had its own fire pit and private spa looking over the snow-covered Coronet Peak. Jessica wore the most incredible off-the-shoulder grey gown that was tiered and voluminous and Callum wore a custom maroon suit. The colours were perfectly complementary to one another and worked well with their wintery surroundings. 

We got some great photos at their Chalet before we headed off to the ceremony. We chose Kelvin Height as a backup location which worked out beautifully, as there was too much low cloud for our original plan of Coronet Peak. We met with Celebrant Phillipa Thomas and as it turned out, all three of them are madly in love with Formula 1 racing, so they had a great time talking all about that. Jessica was eager to get to the snow and by the end of the Ceremony the cloud had lifted and we were able to go up to Coronet Peak for some great snowy couple shots! The two of them then stayed on to enjoy two weeks of Snowboarding in Queenstown and Wanaka.
