Eamon & Jenny
On the day
In a beautiful blend of locations and cultures, Eamon from NZ and Jenny from Venezuela came over to Alexandra from their home in London for their special day. Alexandra was chosen as the perfect spot for their wedding as it is the home of Eamon’s parents. I met Jenny at Eamon’s parent’s house where she was getting ready with her sister, her two cousins, and her mom who had come over from Venezuela for the wedding. They got their hair and makeup done and we took photos on the balcony. Next, I went to see Eamon who was getting ready with his friends near the venue. We headed there together to greet the guests and wait for Jenny to arrive in a Rolls Royce that Eamon had secretly arranged for her as a surprise. They chose the Orchard Garden as the venue for their intimate wedding, with 24 people all celebrating their love in the beautiful garden setting. It was a ceremony setting like no other with the wedding taking place in the middle of a maze. The staff had laid down petals for us to follow to find our way to the centre.
Eamon and Jenny were married under a gorgeous Oaktree. Both parents got up and spoke and the couple performed a traditional Spanish ceremony with coins which made the wedding even more special and unique. The coins went from Jenny’s hands to Eamon’s and then back again like a dowry. After the congratulations, there was a cake cutting and group photos in another area of the gardens. The venue had lots of beautiful little places to get lost in. I managed to whisk Eamon and Jenny away for their couple session and we made our way up to a lookout point overlooking the Clyde dam and the turquoise waters of the river below. We arrived back at the reception area to a beautiful buffet dinner with fresh salads, delicious meats, blue cod, and decadent desserts. The group sat down to an intimate candlelit dinner surrounded by florals and candles. The first dance followed and then the guests joined the happy couple on the dance floor and danced the night away. Congratulations Eamon and Jenny!
